Many services can be estimated by phone. We will ask a few practical questions, explain the likely scope and confirm the treatment and price when the technician attends.
Tell us the suburb, property type, pests you have seen, where activity is occurring, how long it has been present and whether children, pets, tenants, customers or sensitive areas need to be considered. Photos can be useful for bird work, proofing and unusual pest activity.
Many residential services can be estimated by phone. Commercial or site-specific assessments may be free where appropriate, while some inspections carry a fee that may be credited towards approved work. Bird-control work commonly needs an onsite assessment, and travel or assessment charges may apply to remote projects.
Normal published hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. Appointment timing depends on location, access and the service required. Commercial after-hours work can be arranged, and genuinely urgent residential problems may sometimes be attended outside normal hours for an additional charge.
Preparation depends on the pest and treatment. We will provide the relevant instructions before the visit. These may include clearing access to skirting, storing exposed food, managing pets, moving vehicles or avoiding treated areas for a stated period.
The standard scope can include the internal perimeter, cracks and crevices, windows and doors, roof void, the external house perimeter, external ant areas, weep holes and the subfloor where applicable. The final approach is adjusted to the property and pest activity.
We use APVMA-registered products according to the approved label. Product choice, preparation and re-entry instructions vary by treatment, so follow the specific directions provided for your service rather than relying on a universal “pet-safe” or “safe once dry” claim.
That depends on the pest, infestation level, harbourage, access and conditions around the property. Some services are designed as a single visit, while German cockroaches, rodents, termites and established ant activity may require follow-up visits or an ongoing programme.
Yes. East West Pest can inspect, recommend and complete suitable pest entry sealing and proofing work. Structural repairs or work that requires another licensed trade are quoted or referred separately.
The initial visit includes an inspection for entry points and rodent activity, followed by the initial installation of bait stations with bait. Follow-up visits check activity and bait consumption, replenish bait where required and continue reducing rodent pressure.
No. Thermal cameras, moisture meters and similar equipment are inspection aids. Findings must be interpreted alongside a detailed inspection of accessible areas, visible evidence, construction and site conditions.
A chemical treated zone—often called a “termite barrier” by homeowners—is a treatment zone designed to help manage termite entry. Suitability depends on the building, access, construction and inspection findings, and it must be installed and maintained in accordance with the relevant product label and requirements.
No. It depends on the tenancy agreement, the property’s starting condition and why treatment is needed. A valid pet or special term may require treatment, but it is not automatic for every tenancy. Check your agreement or ask your property manager.
Yes. Suitable bird-control and netting work can be completed for residential, commercial, industrial and rural properties, including sheds and warehouses. The installation method is planned around the structure, equipment, access requirements and project location.
Routine reporting is normally completed promptly and often at the service once the programme is established. Initial programmes, termite work, installation work and larger reports can take longer. We will explain the reporting process for your site.
